Essential Functions and Primary Duties- Participate as a key member on the data development team in client, business, or internal meetings.
- Collaborate with clients to create automated ETL/SSIS processes to download, prep, import, and validate healthcare claims data.
- Collaborate with business to create BI reports and dashboards to help analyze data and provide insight to clients
- Develops, designs, and optimizes SQL queries
- Be able to give and receive feedback on requirements or code reviews and accurately apply comments/feedback.
- Participate in SQL modernization projects.

Preferred Qualifications- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently on projects and within a remote team environment
- Coursework or experience in SQL/SSIS technology
- Coursework or experience in SQL BI Developments (SSRS/PowerBI)
- Coursework or familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
- Ability to execute assigned projects within established deadlines
- Proficient use of applicable software programs, including Microsoft Office suite
- Self-motivated and eager to contribute
Minimum Qualifications- Intern must be working toward or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, management information systems or related field
