Job Description
The Inside Sales Engineer is the support resource for our customers, partners, and Commercial sales team. They are responsible for working collaboratively with the commercial sales team as a technical advisor and Commercial/ Product advocate. The Inside Sales Engineer must be able to read specifications & plans to configure, price, and quote technical and financial solutions that place CE as a viable solution for the customer and marketplace.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responds to new business opportunities based on sales leads from Account or Sales Managers and generating quotes for Commercial sales with assigned accounts.
• Supports Account Managers and Sales Managers with new accounts, existing accounts, and introduction of new products to Engineers and Mechanical Contractors.
• Complete bids, submittals and take offs based on plan reviews and specifications in support of Commercial.
• Follow up on quotes, bids, and submittals to complete the sale.
• Extensive interaction with customers, manufacturers, and sales team via phone & e-mail.
• Assist with training as needed for our Commercial dealers.
• Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
• Maintain professional business relationships with target or assigned accounts.
• Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
• Identify and communicate customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.
• Travel as needed with the Sales Team to support presentations and trade show activities.
