Structural Welder - Stainless Steel (GMAW)

Job Location: Fargo, North Dakota

$30-$34 / hr + $125 / day worked (Per Diem)

Shift Information:

• Schedule is 50 hr weeks M-F

Brief Description:

Journeyman Structural (GMAW) Welder (Stainless Steel)

Limited thickness 2G 3/8” plate with backing bar, wire .035 308L

Responsibilities / abilities:

• Coordinate with job site manager to configure layout.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Perform welding in an overhead, laying, or standing position.
• Use and operate welding equipment including but not limited to power sources, welding guns, torches, and plasma cutters.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries

• While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to see, talk and hear.
• This position will require one to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, work at heights without fear, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• This position will one to occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
• Visual Acuity: must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner.
