Schedule Details :

Nights, 8 and 12-hour shifts, every third weekend rotation, and holiday rotation.

Special Offers :

Unit Overview :

Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, providing care for a diverse patient population that includes :

Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections

Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries

Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients

High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients

Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for safe and compassionate care.

Apply clinical judgment and critical thinking for optimal outcomes.

Major Responsibilities :

Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Recognize significant changes in patient condition and respond promptly.

Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :

Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.

Education Required :

Completion of an accredited or approved Nursing program.

Experience Required :

Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :

Ability to provide holistic patient care and recognize situational changes.

Proficient computer skills including electronic medical records.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to make critical decisions and work collaboratively.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :

Ability to lift, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.

Exposure to chemicals, hazardous waste, and communicable diseases.
