7ALPHA seeks an STRTP Administrator. An STRTP Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and compliance of the Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program. This role ensures that program operations meet all regulatory, contractual, and clinical standards established by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), and other oversight agencies. The Administrator provides strategic direction, supervises key staff, and ensures high-quality, trauma-informed care for residents.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the STRTP program, ensuring compliance with Title 22, Title 17, CCR, and STRTP regulations
- Ensure licensing, certification, and contract requirements are maintained at all times
- Supervise program management staff, including clinical, case management, and direct care leadership
- Develop, implement, and enforce program policies, procedures, and SOPs
- Coordinate with county placing agencies, probation departments, and external stakeholders
- Monitor program quality, outcomes, and continuous quality improvement (CQI) efforts
- Ensure staff training, credentialing, and performance evaluations are completed timely
- Oversee incident reporting, corrective action plans, and regulatory audits/inspections
- Manage program budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation
- Promote a safe, therapeutic, and trauma-informed environment for residents
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Behavioral Health, or related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of leadership or administrative experience in an STRTP, group home, residential treatment facility, or child welfare setting
- Demonstrated knowledge of STRTP regulations, CDSS licensing requirements
- Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience serving as an STRTP Administrator or Program Director
- Experience with accreditation, audits, and corrective action processes
Additional Requirements
- Ability to pass DOJ/FBI Live Scan background clearance
- Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
