Job Title : QA Supervisor

Job Description

The QA Supervisor will report to the Food Safety and Quality Manager and will directly oversee employees in the QA Lab. This role is essential in supervising and implementing quality programs while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws.

PAY - $70k - $90k

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, and train employees, while planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Appraise performance, reward, and discipline employees as necessary.
• Provide coverage and support in the absence of the Food Safety and Quality Manager.
• Implement and continuously improve quality programs at the Elk Grove Village facility.
• Identify and resolve problems, reporting food safety and quality issues to management.
• Implement components of the quality assurance program, including data analysis, systems evaluation, and product assessment.
• Direct hardware inspections and systems audits to ensure adherence to management system procedures.
• Conduct raw material, in-process, and finished goods quality inspections.
• Communicate effectively in Spanish, both written and orally.
• Guide personnel in special test procedures to analyze product materials.
• Compile and analyze test information to assess process or equipment efficiency and diagnose malfunctions.
• Investigate product complaints and respond to vendors or customers as needed.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet testing schedules.
• Train lab staff on safety topics, quality procedures, and business updates.
• Participate in and support corporate and plant initiatives, including GMP, HACCP, SQF, and other quality systems.
• Engage in customer, regulatory, and third-party audits as required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00 / yr.
