Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time special education teaching opportunity serves middle school students in grades 7 and 8, focusing on learning support. The position requires dedication to supporting approximately 20 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in a structured school environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of middle school students with disabilities.
- Manage a caseload of roughly 20 IEP students, ensuring pliance with individualized goals and state regulations.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district policies.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Qualifications and Experience :
Active Pennsylvania special education teaching certification.Clearances required by Pennsylvania state law.Proven experience teaching special education students, preferably in middle school learning support settings.Strong munication and organizational skills.Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) effectively.Work Schedule and Location :
Full-time position consisting of 38 hours per week.Work hours are approximately 7 : 15 a.m. to 3 : 00 p.m., Monday through Friday.Located in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.Contract duration for the current school year (CSY).Additional Information :
