Returns Materials Handler

Warehouse Position

Join our team as a Returns Materials Handler and play a crucial role in processing inbound returns and outbound merchandise. Your responsibilities will include unloading merchandise, verifying deliveries, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

In this role, you will :

• Unload various types of merchandise from Ozark route trucks and place them in designated staging areas.
• Verify shipments by matching the driver's manifest to the unloaded merchandise.
• Assist in wrapping, loading, and shipping outbound products.
• Check and scan returned merchandise, ensuring proper sorting and staging.
• Sort and neatly stack rebuilt core and warranty items in their designated areas.
• Follow established procedures for staging, auditing, and preparing products for shipment.
• Maintain inventory and order boxes used for specific lines.
• Coordinate with vendor representatives regarding warranty claims and maintain accurate records.
• Process and recondition warranty batteries and organize monthly battery reports.
• Keep work areas clean and adhere to safety standards.
• Train new team members and communicate departmental updates to ensure a smooth integration into the team.
