Warehouse Position
Join our team as a Returns Materials Handler and play a crucial role in processing inbound returns and outbound merchandise. Your responsibilities will include unloading merchandise, verifying deliveries, and ensuring accurate inventory management.
In this role, you will :
- Unload various types of merchandise from Ozark route trucks and place them in designated staging areas.
- Verify shipments by matching the driver's manifest to the unloaded merchandise.
- Assist in wrapping, loading, and shipping outbound products.
- Check and scan returned merchandise, ensuring proper sorting and staging.
- Sort and neatly stack rebuilt core and warranty items in their designated areas.
- Follow established procedures for staging, auditing, and preparing products for shipment.
- Maintain inventory and order boxes used for specific lines.
- Coordinate with vendor representatives regarding warranty claims and maintain accurate records.
- Process and recondition warranty batteries and organize monthly battery reports.
- Keep work areas clean and adhere to safety standards.
- Train new team members and communicate departmental updates to ensure a smooth integration into the team.
Requirements :
Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Basic computer skills are necessary.Desired Qualifications :
