[job_card.job_description]Greet patients and create a welcoming, professional first impression Manage low-volume calls, emails, and patient inquiries with empathy Support patients through registration, post-care instructions, and follow-up Verify insurance, collect copays, and securely manage medical records Schedule appointments and coordinate care across treatment and imaging suites Assist with ordering supplies and receiving deliveries Prepare patients for treatment (no blood draws required) Take vitals, prep exam rooms, and assist with infection control Help with patient transfers and comfort during procedures Support clinical trial and imaging patients as needed Assist physicians with chart documentation (scribe experience a plus) Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and ensure adherence to safety protocols Associate s degree or equivalent experience Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential, preferred 5+ years in a healthcare or medical office setting Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance workflows Experience as a medical scribe is a plus Discretion with confidential information and sound judgment Ability to sit, bend, squat, and assist with patient transfers as needed Willingness to arrive early or stay late to support patient needs
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to serve as a Patient Care and Clinical Support Coordinator . This hybrid role blends front-desk responsibilities, clinical support, and patient experience coordination. You ll be the first point of contact for patients, guiding them through their treatment journey, from check-in to post-care instructions, while supporting both administrative and clinical operations.
This position requires strong communication skills, reliability, and a patient-centered mindset. You ll work closely with physicians and staff to ensure smooth, safe, and compassionate care.
