As an unarmed patrol officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and document observations as needed. What You'll Do :
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and / or office location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts, assisting with scene control, and documenting actions taken.Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or identify maintenance and operational concerns.Control access points by verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials per site policy, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas.Complete reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.Minimum Requirements :
Have 1+ years of security experience.Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.Access control / badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
