Sales Executive (Low Voltage Systems) Location :

  • Nashville, TN (Hybrid / On the Road) Division : Low Voltage Company : State Systems, Inc.

  • We’re growing our Low Voltage Division in Middle Tennessee and looking for a Sales Executive who thrives on building relationships and driving new business.

  • What You’ll Do As a Sales Executive , you’ll promote and sell Fire Alarm and Low Voltage Systems to commercial and industrial clients across Middle Tennessee.
  • This role combines technical understanding with relationship-based sales to deliver effective, compliant, and custom-engineered solutions.
  • Key Responsibilities Generate new business opportunities and grow existing accounts within your assigned territory.
  • Promote and sell testing, inspection, and maintenance services for fire alarm and low voltage systems.
  • Create project estimates, proposals, and bids in alignment with customer needs and code requirements.
  • Engage with Property Managers, Facility Supervisors, and Building Engineers to maintain and expand client relationships.
  • Conduct site visits and meet customers face-to-face to evaluate project needs.
  • Manage project lifecycles—including scheduling, invoicing, and client communication.
  • Submit sales reports, forecasts, and paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and service delivery.
  • What We’re Looking For 2+ years of low voltage sales experience and 5+ years overall in the low voltage or fire alarm industry and familiarity with the current NFPA 72 codes.
  • Proven success in B2B sales to commercial facilities.
  • Experience with estimating, selling, and managing low voltage or fire alarm systems .
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word ; CRM experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, meet goals, and manage multiple projects.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Middle Tennessee.
