Staff Security Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive security strategies and solutions

Design and deploy advanced security controls to safeguard networks, systems, and applications

Mentor new engineers and uphold security process standards to support high-quality engineering

Required Qualifications

BS / BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field, or 10 years of security domain experience without a degree

8+ years of experience in software or security engineering within Cloud Native environments

Experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems

Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

4+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting
