Job Description

As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol in WEST COLUMBIA, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more.

As a Security Officer specializing in access control at an automotive location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves interacting with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

DayTimeMon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
• Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the auto location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for unusual activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
• Communicate with site personnel and visitors in a professional manner while upholding security-related standards.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and procedures as directed by management.

Minimum Requirements:

• South Carolina Security Professional Guard Card preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
