Position Summary

The at the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning invites candidates who can enthusiastically inspire and engage the next generation of practitioners. Candidates should have the ability to teach in-person, hybrid, or online courses in architecture and design-related topics or conduct research and service in support of the mission and vision of the school. Teaching positions are available at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Essential Functions

• Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of architecture
• Provides students with appropriate learning materials and expertise in subject area
• Evaluates students’ performance and provides effective feedback to guide student learning and success
• Responsible for contributing to and maintaining an inclusive and collaborative environment
• Ability to conduct research or service in support of the mission and vision of the school

• PhD or Doctoral degree in architecture.
• Licensure in architecture.
