Senior UI Developer - Local to Pittsburgh, PA

Position Description:

This hybrid role must be filled with a candidate local to Pittsburgh, PA.

CGI is seeking a software developer with experience in Angular, HTML, CSS. The developer will rely on their growing technical skills and experience to design, estimate, present and deliver technical solutions with clean, well-organized and expressive code to CGI's customer base. The developer will be working with our client to understand their business needs and help deliver value though technology. The candidate should we very articulate about the technologies that come into play and capable of providing direction on this space.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Design and implement frontend user interfaces using Angular
. Create integrated functionality to a backend database
. Develop product and platform prototypes and convert the mockups into working UI models
. Collaborate with project team members to solve complex problems
. Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objective
. Work within an Agile team

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Experience with front-end development using Angular versions 2 and above
. Hands on experience with Angular v9, v10, v11, v12 and/or v13
. Experience of UI development using Java Script, HTML, and CSS
. Experience or understanding of microservices frontend
. Knowledge of relational database, specifically Oracle (SQL - PL/SQL)
. Experience of test-driven development
. Ability to work both independently and with a team

Desired Qualifications:
. Experience or knowledge of Bootstrap
. Experience or knowledge of Angular Forms
. Experience or knowledge of Docker
. Experience or knowledge of Openshift
. Experience or knowledge with Agile delivery
. Exposure to SOA
