Security Officer - Downtown Bike Patrol

As a Security Officer - Downtown Bike Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with building occupants and visitors. Pay Rate : $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Mon 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Tue 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Fri 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Sat 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM
  • Sun 10 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
  • Monitor the premises for potential security-related concerns and report observations according to established guidelines.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff while representing Allied Universal at all times.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities clearly and accurately as required by site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Ability to ride a bike is required.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Baton certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
