Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy of results, troubleshoot errors, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on lab instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and promote adherence to lab quality standards.
• Foster a safe, clean work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health field, coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
