The Goddard School® located at 1928 Springbrook Square Drive in Naperville is seeking a motivated, nurturing Assistant Teacher to join our incredible team.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans
  
  
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
  
  
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom environment
  
  
• Provide individualized support and foster a strong sense of belonging
  
  
• Communicate with families about daily activities and milestones
  
  
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines
  
  
• Support daily care routines in a nurturing, structured environment
  
  

What You Bring:

• High school diploma required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred)
  
  
• Experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
  
  
• Genuine compassion and patience with young children
  
  
• Dependability and strong teamwork skills
  
  
• Understanding of child development
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  
  
• Ability to pass required state background checks and meet licensing requirements
