Job Description

Sarasota Ford is looking to hire an experienced Automotive Diesel Technician to join our service team. If you're confident in your diesel repair skills and want to work in a clean, modern, high-volume shop, this is the opportunity for you. You'll handle diagnostics and repairs on diesel trucks and vehicles, particularly Ford Super Duty models, while upholding the highest standards of performance and safety.

Job Type & Schedule

Job Type : Full-time

Schedule : Monday to Friday, No Weekends!

Pay : $60,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience and certifications

Work Requirements :

Work Schedule : 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. No Weekends!

Ability to Commute : Sarasota, FL (Required)

Work Location : In person

Responsibilities

Accurately diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems

Conduct maintenance, inspections, and performance checks on Ford diesel vehicles

Document completed work clearly and communicate with service advisors

Stay current with Ford diesel technologies and complete required training

Ensure all repairs meet dealership, manufacturer, and safety expectations

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area

Qualifications

Hands-on experience working with diesel engines; Ford Power Stroke expertise preferred

Ford Diesel Certification highly preferred

Strong understanding of diesel diagnostics and tools

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a team environment

Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling shop demands
