Position Summary :
Provides support to Corporate Buyers by assisting them with the process of merchandising, selection and development, sales, analysis and vendor management.
Essential Functions :
- Receives purchase orders from various buying departments.
- Confirms pricing with supplier
- Corrects pricing and / or weights on purchase orders
- Changes delivery date as instructed
- Releases purchase orders
- Faxes purchase orders to suppliers
- Assists with price out of different suppliers and delivery
- Will assist with food safety recalls by completing paperwork such as checklist for recalled items and spreadsheets with required information for supplier and / or regulatory agencies.
- Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned.
