DISPATCH/ (Freight)

Marketing Agent needed in the Citrus Heights area for a locally owned, dynamic, fast-growing company in the freight industry. This is a newly created position that offers a great opportunity for someone who wants to get in on the ground floor with unlimited possibilities. A temp to hire, full time opportunity with great benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Follow up with new business from leads, referrals, and existing clients.

• Assist the agents with operation needs including calling customers and drivers.

• Understand and perform all aspects of booking freight for customers.

• Communicate status of customers with staff members. Assists with contract revisions and editing.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of the freight industry.

• Strong time management and follow up skills.

• Excellent customer service and sales skills.

• Intermediate computer skills.

• Strong communication skills.

Pay Rate $19-$21

Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
