$1800 / shift Locum Anesthesia MD West of Boston, MA Job

SMART Physician Recruiting is seeking Anesthesia Board-certified or Board-eligible Physicians for a new and ongoing locum tenens opportunity West of Boston, MA. This position is ideal for experienced general anesthetist doctors (BC or BE; ABA / AOBA) that are comfortable with the listed case types. Projected start date of this assignment is ASAP, and it will be ongoing. Credentialing will be as efficient as possible. SMART will pay for and process an MA license for those coming from out of state, although a fairly local physician would be preferable. Applicants with full-time and ongoing availability will be considered for this locum assignment.

• Locum Rate : $1800 / shift guaranteed 40hr week plus travel and malpractice insurance with tail
• Overtime / Call Premium : $230 / hr (OT paid after 40 worked hours) $700 weekend pager rate & $200 weekday pager rate
• Case Types : Cases for the OR are medically directed, OB CRNAs are supervised Cases include general, ortho, urology, ENT / ophthalmology, bariatric, vascular, neuro, thoracic, GYN, dermatology, plastic, cardiac and OB. No trauma. There is always 1 MD and 1 CRNA in-house 24 hours a day Cardiac cases are medically directed and some of the CRNAs do hearts. OB team of In-house CRNAs
• Call Schedule : 4 times per month (16hrs / day on call)
• Special Requirements / Further information : BC / BE in Anesthesia, Case Logs, helpful if fairly local and have an active MA license.
• License / Credentialing : 60-90 days
