Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for night shifts in a Level II Trauma Center, requiring a ME or compact RN license and strong neuro and trauma skills.

Job Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting,
• 26-bed ICU including some negative pressure rooms,
• Caring for medical, surgical, trauma, neuro, ortho, and interventional patients,
• Conditions include ICP monitoring, EVD, spinal precautions, DKA, multi-system trauma, sepsis, ARDS, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, and stroke,
• Patient ratio is typically 1 : 2, with a possible third patient during discharge or transfer,
• Night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM, with every other weekend required,
• No on-call responsibilities,
• Floating may be required to Cardiac Care Unit, Cardiac or Medical Stepdown, or to PICU if pediatric experience is present,
• Uses Cerner for charting; experience preferred,
• Utilizes Alaris and Pyxis equipment,
