A high-acuity emergency department in northern New Jersey is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician. This position offers strong earning potential flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work within a collaborative team supported by advanced practice providers. Physicians typically earn around $420000 annually as 1099 contractors with additional income available for extra shifts. Malpractice and tail coverage are fully included.

Key Responsibilities

Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume clinical environment

Collaborate with physicians nurses and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Maintain compliance with all required safety documentation and quality standards

Schedule and Compensation

12-hour shifts with scheduling flexibility

Competitive 1099 compensation structure with additional earning opportunities

Part-time options may be available

Qualifications

MD or DO degree

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM / AOBEM) or recent resident

Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based emergency experience

ATLS ACLS BLS and PALS required

Eligible for New Jersey medical license
