Looking for a NIGHT shift Janitor for Manufacturing company in Carlsbad, CA.

Shift dates and times:

Sunday-Thursday 8PM-4:30AM - $21.35 per hour

TEMPORARY- 6 month contract, interview required

 Responsible for daily services 5 days per week and monthly tasks

 Responsible for emptying trash receptacles throughout the building, vacuuming, dust mopping floors, damp mopping, carpet spot cleaning, cleaning metal surfaces and cleaning glass.

 Cleaning , sanitizing and restock restrooms

 Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces

 Restock café items daily and clear and clean out cubbies as per schedule

 Complete weekly and monthly cleaning list activities

 Under direction from the manager able to take task assigned such as dusting blinds, ceiling vents and picture frames.

 Responsible for assisting with light bulb replacement and small tasks assigned

 Help organize and maintain inventory, availability and control of janitorial supplies necessary to perform duties

 Perform cafe inventory and submit order request to appropriate department

 Ability to effectively interact with professionalism and work well at all levels, with production and warehouse personnel, as well as all other departments as assigned

 Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software to keep communication open to all departments

 At times, this role will be assigned to research replacement spare parts from vendors

 Must be willing to work a flexible shift schedule including daily overtime and weekends and needed. This will include securing the building on a daily basis and other duties as assigned by the Manager

 Document cleaning following the Master Sanitation Schedule

 Report any maintenance or repairs to the Maintenance Manager

• Minimum of 1-2 years in janitorial services and minor maintenance repairs preferred
• Must be able to perform all duties assigned and perform them safely and efficiently
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Able to read and interpret notes and tasks assigned
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while remaining productive at all times

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
