Speech Language Pathologist

Evaluates and develops an individual treatment plan for patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and communication disorders with follow-up for implementation of treatment as indicated. Evaluate and provides treatment for swallowing disorders with use of diagnostic tools as indicated.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required :

Masters of Science or Art in Speech Language Pathology. Recipient of the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA standard of 36 weeks minimum at 35 hours per week for completion of a minimum of 1260 hours therefore 9-12 month time frame for completion). License from the Kentucky Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (Interim license to Active Kentucky State license 9-12 month completion). BCLS required. EXPERIENCE : minimum 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred; however will accept eligible CFY.
