Division Chief / Fire Marshal
Join our team! We are hiring for the role of Division Chief / Fire Marshal in the Fire Department. This position will consider both Sworn and Civilian candidates. Sworn Pay Range : $49.27 - $54.75 / hour Civilian Pay Range : $48.06 - $53.41 / hour $102,481.60 - $113,880.00 Annual $99,964.80 - $111,092.80 Annual
Essential Job Functions :
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel.
- Enforce state and local fire prevention codes.
- Review new commercial construction and remodeling plans, inspecting new commercial structures.
- Meet and / or communicate with various individuals regarding compliance problems.
- Interpret and explain state of local fire codes.
- Oversee the department's investigations of fire cause and origin determinations.
- Respond to emergencies as needed.
