We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Plant Controller to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing facility. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, and data-driven decision-making that supports plant performance and profitability. You will work closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to align financial strategy with operational execution.
The Impact You’ll Make
As Plant Controller, you will serve as the financial leader at the plant level, ensuring operational decisions are supported by timely and accurate financial insights. Your analysis and guidance will directly influence efficiency, margin improvement, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all plant-level accounting operations, including cost accounting, inventory, and monthly close
Develop and maintain product cost models for pricing and margin analysis
Partner with plant leadership on budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Track KPIs and deliver actionable financial insights to improve productivity and reduce waste
Ensure compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, and internal controls
Lead financial performance reviews with plant leadership
Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and procurement to align financial and production goals
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting / finance experience
At least 2 years in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, and inventory valuation
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and communication skills
Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable influencing decision-making
