Overview
We are seeking a skilled and committed OB Hospitalist to fill approximately 20 shifts per month at CHI St. Anthony, an MHAS program located about 200 miles east of Portland. The role involves 24-hour shifts, including clinic work during weekdays and on-call responsibilities for the remainder of the day. Weekend shifts encompass on-call duties only. This position is ideal for physicians looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining professional flexibility.

Required Skills

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with obstetric skills
• Valid and unrestricted medical license in Oregon or eligible for licensing
• Proven experience handling obstetric emergencies and inpatient OB care
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills

• Previous experience in a hospitalist or obstetric inpatient setting
• BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certification
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Familiarity with rural or underserved healthcare environments

Preferred Education and Experience

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics or hospitalist services
• Prior experience working in Oregon or similar healthcare settings

• Ability to work 24-hour shifts and be on-call as scheduled
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care

• Travel and licensure reimbursements available when applicable
