Machine Operator - Brown Deer, WI

We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our team in Brown Deer, Wisconsin! If you have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and a "can-do" attitude, we encourage you to apply.

Compensation

Pay Range : $17 - $24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

1st Shift : 7am-3 : 30pm Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

This role involves operating a variety of manufacturing equipment. Your primary duties will include :

  • Operating diverse machinery, such as punch presses, grinding machines, a shear, and other equipment.
  • Performing precise measurements of parts using both a standard ruler (a MUST-HAVE skill) and digital micrometers.
  • Maintaining a strong focus on product quality, inspecting parts to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Troubleshooting minor machine issues as needed.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess :

  • Proven ability to accurately read a ruler

    • (digital micrometer is a plus)

  • A good eye for quality and attention to detail in a manufacturing setting.
  • A strong "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to different machines and tasks.
  • Demonstrated longevity in past employment, with a history of 3+ years with previous employers.
  • Prior experience operating different types of machinery (punch press, grinder, shear experience is a plus).
  • Reliable transportation.
