Position Overview : The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance on a variety of equipment and machinery throughout our modern food manufacturing plant. You will ensure that all systems, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, operate efficiently to keep production running smoothly. Key Responsibilities :

• Perform regular preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery, including conveyors, mixers, packaging equipment, and other food manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests and provide effective solutions to equipment failures.
• Install, repair, and maintain motors, drives, and controls, ensuring that all machinery is calibrated and operates correctly.
• Work with production teams to ensure equipment is set up and calibrated for efficient operation.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and plant upgrades as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts usage, and scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company safety protocols, industry regulations, and sanitation standards.
• Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory and ordering parts as needed.
• Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment optimization.
