$120,000 - $140,000 annual salary (based on experience)

Position Overview :

Apex Systems is seeking a Lead Software Developer on behalf of a forward-thinking insurance technology partner. This is a fully onsite role based in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with strong leadership skills, deep experience in web application development, and a passion for mentoring others. You'll play a key role in building scalable applications, guiding technical decisions, and contributing to a collaborative Agile team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities / Typical Day Look Like :

• Develop efficient, testable, and maintainable code aligned with project goals
• Build RESTful services using C# and .NET Core
• Write and optimize Linq and SQL queries for performance and data integrity
• Collaborate within an Agile Scrum team to meet sprint commitments
• Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative learning environment
• Serve as a hands-on subject matter expert in software development
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and technical discussions
• Document requirements and specifications clearly and effectively
