Job Description

Job Title : CT Technologist

Profession : Diagnostic Imaging

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 4 / 10 hr shifts - no overnights, every other weekend

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Current California Certified Radiological Technologist License (CRT)

Certifications : Current peripheral Vascular Access certification, Current BLS Certificate

Must-Have : Understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.

Maintaining a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques.

Professional and ethical judgment and critical thinking in performing duties.

Acting as the primary liaison between patients and radiologists and other members of the support team.

Description :

The CT Technologist must demonstrate an understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.

The CT Technologist must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques.

CT Technologists are the primary liaison between patients and radiologists and other members of the support team.

CT Technologists use professional and ethical judgment and critical thinking when performing their duties.

There will be up to 36 hours of call-off available to the facility during the course of the assignment.

Attention to requested start date is required.

Candidates submitted with start dates more than 2 weeks after the requested start date will be automatically declined.

Holiday coverage is required.
