Psychology Program Adjunct

Position Summary :

The Psychology program within the department of Social Sciences is looking for qualified candidates who can serve as adjunct instructors to teach courses on-campus and / or online. D’Youville houses both a traditional on-campus B.A. in psychology curricula as well as a fully online B.A. in psychology curricula. Courses or topic areas potentially in need of staffing include general, developmental, physiological, behavioral / clinical, cognitive, experimental, forensic / legal, social / personality, and industrial / organizational psychology. The department is accepting applications for positions to be filled as needed.

Qualifications :

• Masters degree or higher in psychology or related field from an accredited college or university
• Previous experience with teaching in higher education is preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to utilize various software programs including the institution’s Learning Management System (Canvas) related to the delivery of online course content
