We are seeking a highly qualified, board-certified Interventional Radiologist (IR) with stroke expertise to join our team.
This role requires providing onsite IR and Stroke coverage with call, including a 1 : 3 rotation. The ideal candidate must be both IR and Stroke trained and have the ability to handle a diverse set of diagnostic modalities. This position involves a combination of interventional radiology procedures and stroke care, with volume expectations of 60 RVUs per shift.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide onsite Interventional Radiology (IR) services at Piedmont Midtown, including performing procedures and reading off the general list between cases.
- Provide 24 / 7 IR and Stroke call coverage with a 1 : 3 rotation.
- Serve as the primary provider for Stroke care.
- Maintain telehealth credentials for other SOAR sites in Georgia and Western Georgia Area (WGA).
- Participate in holiday coverage as mutually agreed upon with the team.
- Ensure proper and timely documentation using RPCE Tech Stack and Powerscribe 4.0.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain Board Certification and comply with all normal medical malpractice requirements.
- Participate in continuous medical education and training to stay updated on the latest advancements in IR and stroke care.
Required Qualifications :
Board Certified in Interventional Radiology and Stroke.Must be experienced and proficient in both IR procedures and stroke care.Ability to manage a high-volume patient load with 60 RVUs expected per shift.Must be comfortable with all modalities of diagnostic imaging.Ability to maintain telehealth credentials for other SOAR sites (GA / WGA).Ability to handle a Trauma Level 2 facility's needs.Strong communication and collaborative skills.Must meet normal medical malpractice insurance requirements.Work Schedule :
7 days a week, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM EST.IR / Stroke call is required 24 / 7 with a 1 : 3 rotation.Holiday coverage will be mutually agreed upon with the team.
