Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated general production worker with open availability between 7am and 7pm. The typical shift runs from 6am to 2:30pm, with some overtime as needed. This position offers the potential for a long-term or permanent role. Attendance and punctuality are crucial, and adherence to our strict attendance policy is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate an order picker (cherry picker), reach truck, and sit-down forklift.
• Handle materials and inventory management, including picking, loading, and general labor tasks.
• Use RF scanners for packing, labeling, and palletizing.
• Participate in shipping and receiving duties, including unloading trucks and stocking.
• Conduct cycle counts and order picking to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly.

Essential Skills

• Experience in operating order picker, reach truck, and sit-down forklift.
• Proficiency in shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and general warehouse tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanners and pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution and operations.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled environment.

The position is based in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment, requiring steel-toed boots. Expect long days with potential for overtime, emphasizing the importance of attendance and punctuality.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Prairie, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
