Specimen Processing Tech

Location :  Chantilly, VA, 20151

Duration- 3+ Months

• Shift : Weds to Sun; 7PM-3 : 30AM (EST); Evening Shift;

Job Description-

Education :

HS diploma or equivalent.

Required Knowledge : Basic understanding of computers with a preferred knowledge of laboratory testing and / or laboratory specimen processing.

Work Experience :

No experience required but previous laboratory experience preferred. Medical background preferred which includes medical terminology applicable to a clinical laboratory. Previous hospital laboratory experience is a plus but not required. Previous experience in a production environment preferred.

Additional Details-

Accessioning - data entry, aliquotting, handling blood samples, etc.
