Quality Control Inspector
What You’ll Do
- Perform in-process and final inspections on machined aerospace parts and assemblies
- Use precision inspection tools, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, air gauges, radius gauges, surface plates, and CMM
- Complete First Article Inspections (AS9102) and document inspection results
- Identify, document, and disposition non-conforming parts
- Support root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and re-work decisions
- Communicate clearly with quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams
- Maintain consistent on-site attendance
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or technical/vocational training preferred
- 2 years of inspection experience with machined parts or assemblies
- Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specs
- Comfortable working with precision measuring instruments
- CMM experience preferred
- Experience in inspecting aerospace coatings and assemblies is a plus
- Strong math skills using fractions and decimals
- Willingness to learn and cross-train in multiple inspection areas
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing shop environment
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, temperature changes, and shop equipment
- Required use of PPE including hearing, eye, hand, and safety footwear
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
