Why Join Our Float Pool? If you seek a night shift position that offers variety, challenge, and opportunities for growth within one hospital, consider our Internal Float Pool. You will rotate through ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Each shift provides new experiences and the chance to enhance your clinical skills.

Essential Duties : You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safety, and delivering therapeutic care. Engage with patients and their families, anticipating changes in patient conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care. Participate actively in discharge planning, quality improvement initiatives, and maintain professional development.

Licenses & Certifications : Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association are required.

Education : Completion of an accredited program in Nursing is necessary.

Experience : Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Knowledge & Skills : Successful candidates will demonstrate holistic patient care capability, adaptability, and proficiency in clinical decision-making, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while fostering positive relationships with patients and team members is essential.
