Corporate Accountant

The ideal candidate will be an important part of our team as you manage the day-to-day activities of several corporate entities as well as helping to manage accurate and timely period-end close activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Drive period-end close activities for several entities; including preparation of assigned account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, inventory accounting and analyses in accordance with GAAP.


• Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and variance explanations for monthly flux analysis.


• Supervise accounting specialist responsible for day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable.


• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather data, align processes, and improve workflows.


• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls by identifying and introducing new ideas and solutions to create efficiencies and streamline processes.


• Research and resolve complex accounting issues and discrepancies.


• Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff.


• Drive special projects, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.


• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.


• In addition to having a strong grasp of US GAAP, the ideal candidate will bring 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, and will be


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).


• Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
