Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding and operating FTIR spectroscopy, ICP-MS, XRF, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and gravimetric analysis, as well as other analytical chemistry techniques as required.
• Preparing, testing, and analyzing samples with accuracy and efficiency.
• Managing test request intake, aligning with stakeholders on preparation and testing requirements.
• Providing feedback on sample needs, testing methods, and results.
• Managing testing timelines and communicating delays or risks proactively.
• Interpreting, documenting, and reporting data to R&D, Regulatory, Biosafety, and Operations teams.
• Maintaining laboratory supplies, cleaning the lab, and ensuring compliance with WIs, SOPs, and EH&S requirements.
• Assisting in developing, validating, and documenting testing methodologies for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Supporting the establishment and validation of new or existing compound identification methods.
• Conducting testing in compliance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting lab metrics tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field (highly preferred).
• Minimum of 3+ years of laboratory experience; chemistry lab experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with FTIR spectroscopy.
• ICP-MS, XRF, UV-Vis, and gravimetric analysis strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate cross-functionally.
