Job Description
Collector: $25.00 an hour
We are in need of a Collector for a Medical office in Newport Beach. This role is long term temp, with the possibility to go temp-hire. It is an IN OFFICE role. Must be FULLY VACCINATED.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
The duties would include:
-Accurate and timely payment posting of insurance and patient payments
-Keeps Daily Deposit Log up to date
-Communicates any payor issues to collections department
-Answers incoming calls regarding patient payments
-Works closely with other departments and groups to resolve issues and exceed client service expectations.
-Verifies insurance in a timely manner for all necessary cases.
-Responsible for accurate billing data entry.

Working with Medical Insurance
Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
