Forensic Structural Engineer (P.E.)

Are you a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) looking for a career where your expertise makes a real impact? We're hiring a Forensic Structural Engineer to investigate building damage, write reports, and provide expert insights. If you enjoy problem-solving, working independently, and helping clients understand structural issues, this is for you!

What You'll Do :

  • Inspect buildings for damage-roofs, foundations, water issues, and more.
  • Write clear, detailed reports explaining your findings.
  • Communicate with clients and team members in a friendly, professional way.
  • Provide expert testimony in court when needed (with legal team support).
  • Continue learning-ongoing training covered by the company!
  • Travel as needed, with occasional overnight stays.

What You Need :

  • Licensed P.E. in your state.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related field).
  • 2-3 years of experience in forensic failure / damage analysis or similar.
  • Strong technical writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Calendar .
  • A valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Ability to work independently from a home office with reliable internet.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A service-oriented mindset-customer-focused and team-friendly.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam .
