Job Title : Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Security Engineer

Location : Wilmington, DE (Hybrid)

DLP Engineer 4–5 years of hands-on experience in data loss prevention solutions to join our security team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Symantec DLP, Varonis, and Microsoft Purview, with proven ability to design, configure, and maintain DLP policies and rules. This individual will partner with Security Operations and IT teams to execute on a comprehensive DLP strategy that safeguards sensitive data and ensures compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain DLP rules, policies, and workflows across Symantec DLP, Varonis, and Microsoft Purview.
• Partner with stakeholders to define DLP strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot DLP systems for performance, false positives, and accuracy.
• Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Update software with patches and support from various DLP software.
• Develop documentation for DLP processes, incident response, and user education.
• Stay current on evolving data security trends, tools, and compliance regulations.
