Position Summary

We are seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst with very strong SQL capabilities and direct UCPath experience . These two qualifications are mandatory . The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting HR and Payroll systems—particularly within university or public-sector environments—and is capable of validating complex data structures, troubleshooting integrations, and partnering with business stakeholders to support ongoing system operations.

UCPath experience must include working directly within the UCPath environment at a UC campus, with demonstrated familiarity across its data model, funding structures, combo codes, FAUs, benefits processing, and payroll validations.

This role functions as a technical and analytical lead, supporting Oracle Cloud HCM, UCPath integrations, and related boundary systems. The Analyst works closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations teams to analyze business processes, define requirements, resolve production issues, and ensure system integrity across the HR technology ecosystem.

Required Experience and Qualifications

SQL (Required)

• Expert-level SQL skills, including the ability to : Validate large HR and Payroll data sets. Troubleshoot data issues and interface failures. Interpret and analyze complex relational table structures. Build and execute advanced queries for reconciliation and validation.

UCPath Experience (Required)

Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience with UCPath, including :
