Collision Center Technician

Description:

As a body shop technician, you will analyze and assess damaged vehicles. Some tasks involve disassembling/ assembling vehicles and repairing scratches, dents, holes, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
• De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Prepare vehicles for body repair work.
• Notify management of any repairs needed and document any additional parts and labor required to perform a satisfactory repair.
• Notify management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised completion date.
• Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenance.
• Cooperate and assist other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles as needed.
• Must comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Other duties assigned by management
