We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team in Augusta, Georgia. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of secure, scalable Java-based applications while collaborating with senior developers and system engineers. This position offers the opportunity to work in an agile environment, delivering innovative solutions to support mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and enhance Java-based applications to meet evolving requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement reliable software solutions.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and deployment of software systems to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Integrate user interfaces and services for scalable data processing.
  • Document code and follow agile development practices to maintain project standards.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for operational software, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Analyze existing systems to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements.
  • Work within a DevOps framework to optimize software delivery and performance.
  • Utilize tools like ActiveMQ, REST, and NoSQL databases to develop efficient back-end services.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of software in a Linux environment.

Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in developing back-end services using Java.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and modern web interface development.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases and elastic database solutions.
  • Ability to validate software capabilities, execute test cases, and capture results.
  • Experience with Linux-based development environments.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and CI / CD processes.
  • Skilled in using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
