RPG Developer

A company is looking for an RPG Developer III to design, maintain, and implement in-house applications on an IBMi platform.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain in-house software applications using various technical platforms

Collaborate with users and IT teammates to develop technical specifications for proposed changes

Support troubleshooting and resolve application system errors in collaboration with the Support Desk and business partners

Required Qualifications

High school degree preferred, with a minimum of five years of RPG programming and development experience

Expert knowledge of RPG and CL on the IBMi platform, including binding directories and service programs

Proficiency in DB2 commands, SQL, and data-centric architecture

Familiarity with Websmart, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and Bootstrap

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
