• IAHCSMM / HSPA Skills Req : Acute Hospital OR Decontamination and disinfection skills req : chemical agents, disinfectants, HLS, manual cleaning procedures, labeling, ultrasonic cleaner, use or washers / sterilizers Preparation and Handling skills req : Aseptic Technique, Case Cart, Organizing trays, Placing instruments on trays, Preference cards, Proper labeling, Proper selection of wrapping materials, Sterilization wrapping procedures Processing skills req : Endoscopes, Scope / Probe Reprocessing, Sets / trays assembly, Equipment Documentation Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM) Specialty Equipment Processing skills req : bariatric, cardiac, dental, ent, endo, general, laparoscopic, neuro, OBGYN, ophthalmology, ortho, plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Transplant, Urology, Vascular Sterilizations Skills Req : Biological indicators, Chemical indicators, Steam Sterilization Testing / monitoring, Steris Testing / monitoring, Sterrad Testing / monitoring MFSMC Hospital Highlights Short Term Acute Care Facility Teaching Hospital; Member of the COTH Total Staffed Beds : 338 Charting : Cerner Scrubs Provided May come into contact with Covid Patients SPD technicians must be certified and have 5 yrs of experience.
