Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

Reports to: Track Superintendent

Primary Purpose: Operate all heavy equipment in the maintenance of the race track surface. Trains all operators in use of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Performs track maintenance duties including rail repair and irrigation.
• Operates equipment to maintain track surface.
• Trains operators in proper track maintenance.
  Other duties as assigned.

Education and Certification: High school diploma preferred. Texas Racing Commission License required.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 1 year heavy equipment operator, preferably race track
• Qualified to run all heavy equipment
• Good oral communication skills for training purposes
